Data we process
When you contact us
When you email Osteam, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, company, message and any attachments. We use it to respond, understand your request and continue the business conversation you initiated.
When you use our operational tools
The Operational Intake, OEE Analyzer and Integration Gap Finder process the values you enter. Depending on the tool, this can include production type, team size, current planning method, operational challenges, OEE percentages, optional operational context and a list of systems or tools.
Do not enter personal data, trade secrets, export-controlled data or other confidential information into these demonstration tools.
Technical information
Our hosting and security infrastructure may generate standard technical logs, such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser information and error details. These logs are used to keep the website available, secure and reliable.
How the AI tools work
The three operational tools send the information you submit to an Osteam server endpoint. That endpoint sends the prompt to the Google Gemini API and streams the generated analysis back to your browser.
The current website code does not write tool submissions or generated answers to an Osteam database. Infrastructure and service providers may still process limited logs and request data under their own terms and retention practices.
AI-generated output can be incomplete or inaccurate. It is general operational guidance, not a production instruction, safety decision, legal opinion or professional certification assessment.
Google Gemini API termsPurpose and legal basis
We process contact information to respond to your request, take steps at your request before entering into an agreement, and manage an existing business relationship where applicable.
We process operational tool inputs because you ask us to generate the selected analysis. We process limited technical information where necessary for our legitimate interests in securing, maintaining and improving the website.
Where consent is the appropriate legal basis, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting processing that already took place.
Retention and security
We keep email and business correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for the conversation, relationship, administration and applicable legal obligations. Technical logs are retained according to operational and provider requirements.
We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards. No internet service is completely secure, so please use appropriate judgement before sending sensitive information by email or through a website.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, the GDPR may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal data, object to processing, request data portability, and withdraw consent.
To exercise a right, email hello@osteam.nl. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
You can also submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
